Raise Data Recovery is created as shareware to enable the possibility of examining the program work before the purchase. The evaluation version limitation includes inability to copy files with the size over 256KB.
Small Files Processor
The Small Files Processor handles files with the size less than 256KB. It deals with all supported storages types, including complex RAID. It also copies files from all file systems types covered by this software.
Small Files Processor is included in the trial software license and allows you to estimate Raise Data Recovery in operation.
Large Files Processor
The Large Files Processor deals with the files larger than 256KB with no further limitations to file size. The Processor’s basic functions include copying of larger files from Windows file systems – NTFS, FAT, FAT32 and ExFAT – and files found with raw recovery technique.
Recovery from other file systems requires attachment of additional modules:
The Processor works with simple linear data storages including hard disk drives, USB hard and flash drives, and memory cards of portable devices. If the file is stored on RAID, the Large Files Processor requires attachment of RAID module.
Raise Data Recovery is licensed for the term of the License Agreement, i.e. lifetime period. During this period, you may use the software in compliance with the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement for personal non-commercial use only.
This license is applicable to a current software version, the version available at Store as of the moment of software license purchase, and software versions released during the Support Term. Support Terms include:
After expiration of the Support Term, newer software versions will be available in trial mode and will not be activated with a current registration code. That's why it is advisable to make backup copy of the software you order the license for.
RAID Module is an additional module to the Large Files Processor of Raise Data Recovery. The RAID Module allows supplementing basic functions with retrieval of lost information from composite RAID storages. Adding the RAID Module, you enable copying your files found on a RAID device.
Mac OS Module is an additional module to the Large Files Processor of Raise Data Recovery. With this module the Large Files Processor will be able to copy out files from Mac OS X file systems (HFS+).
Linux Module is an added module to the Large Files Processor of Raise Data Recovery. With this module the Large Files Processor will be able to copy out files from general Linux/Unix file systems (Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, UFS/UFS2, ReiserFS and JFS).
XFS Module is an additional module to the Large Files Processor of Raise Data Recovery. With this module the Large Files Processor will be able to copy out files from
How to activate
Program functions in trial mode are restricted only at the stage of data copying by using only Small Files Processor. Therefore, the necessity to buy a license may arise on Step 4 - selection of a target storage for data copying.
